Most people call me Sam, though I can't say I'm opposed to nicknames if you put some effort into creating them. I'm sixteen going on thirty-six, and like to pretend I know how the world works from time to time. I have a penchant for mischief, as my friends can attest, though I marginally prefer the term "having fun." I like to think myself clever, but apart from the occasional witticism, I'm not the brightest crayon in the box. I generally consider the high school I attend a ghetto version of Spence, but even that would be a gross overstatement. I'm not very fond of the institution. I tend to use all my energy trying to figure out ways to avoid situations rather than spending the same amount of time to prepare for them, like how to pass a test without studying and run six sprints instead of twelve. Books, music, and athletics are sometimes the only things that get me up in the morning. I'm an avid footballer, and love to watch Man U. own the EPL. Sometimes. When they're having a good season. I'll read just about anything that piques my interest, and music's been with me since I was a kid--though I'm less of an instrumentalist now and more of listener. My iPod's probably my best friend next to my computer. | |
